Service Description
**You are paying for a two-day class when you sign up for the 16-hour Saturday class. This class runs March 25th & 26th 8 hours each day.** Be better prepared for the unexpected in this hands-on 16-hour class. This class is for anyone who recreates outdoors. You will learn Patient Assessment, how to give effective first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses that are common in the outdoors. You will learn airway management, circulatory problems and environmental concerns. We will focus on common medical emergencies such as diabetes, seizures, asthma and anaphylaxis. There will be an emphasis on trauma with hands-on training with splinting, bleeding control and wound management. We will show how these emergencies can be addressed in a wilderness setting. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Wilderness First Aid certification card that is good for 2 years. *CPR is not Included in this course. *This class is Non-Refundable & Not transferable
