Wilderness First Aid Overnight Class

Service Description

In this two-day class you will gain the knowledge to effectively address injuries, illnesses, or emergencies outside. Skills include knowledge of how to dress a wound, treat a bite or burn, stopping bleeds, set an injury using what you have around you, patient assessment, scene size up, head and spinal injuries, heat & cold related injuries, frostbite, water treatment and making improvised litters. You will receive upon completion a two year certificate. Overnight accommodations will be provided at the Sugar Loaf Lodge with individual rooms. Breakfast and Dinner are included. Full instruction with an outdoor field session included.
